Description
Beszli is one of the formations of the Osman provincial light ride. Beszlich was drawn from families living on the border, one rider from several families and paid from the cash register of provincial managers. The formation consisted of various numbers of enthuaches combined for the duration of the campaign into larger units. Beszli's armament was very diverse: spears, sabres, bows, beaks, etc. They did not use protective weapons except for feces. As a typical light ride, Besli was typically used for light driving tasks such as scouting, shielding, sowing terror, and destroying enemy territory. During the battle, they assisted the Sipahs by conducting flanking operations and blatantly firing at the enemy with bows.
